Plus the Latin Mass, Judgment, and the Most Important Thing
Welcome back to the More Than Ordinary Catechism Read-through! Last week we talked about the Final Judgment, the Holy Spirit, and started to talk about who the Church is. Important video highlights include: a reminder that we are in the Last Days, God’s words about judging others, the amazing intertwining of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, Mary’s role in aiding their mission, and an explanation of the Catholic Church’s human AND divine natures.
Below is the deep dive video, the “In Brief” look at the summary sections can also be found on my channel here.
Once again, the timing of this section is relevant to the current Church events. Just as we start to look at the identity of the Church, Pope Francis issued the Motu Proprio in regards to the Latin Mass. The following excerpt from the full video has gathered many views and helped bring more subscribers to my YouTube channel. I also saved a highlight on my Instagram where I talked about the Latin Mass “debate”.
The most important point here is that every valid Mass gives us the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist, regardless of the language in which it is said. There are many dimensions to this conversation, but we must not let this take us away from Church and allow hostility between each other.
We can always count on others to tear Catholics apart and persecute us. Catholics should not be persecuting each other. We must pray, watch, and wait while we remember who the Church is and rally around her.
The videos for last week were late in coming, but we will be catching up this week. The videos coming this Wednesday-Thursday are all about the nature of the Catholic Church, so please keep watching and learning about the Faith!
Thank you for following along, to God be the Glory!
